Goals of scientific research:

To conduct clinical and economic analysis of medical technologies using antibacterial agents, which are used in therapeutic branch of hospital.

Tasks of scientific research:

1. To analyze the structure of pathology in patients treated in therapeutic department of Ternopil City municipal hospital number 3.

2. Identify the main diseases in which treatment therapy with antibacterial drugs was used.

3. Evaluate existing practice of applying antibacterial agents.

4. Analyze the completeness, validity and justification of the medical interventions using antibacterial agents.

5. Conduct clinical and economic analysis of these medical technologies.

The main research areas of the staff of the department are gastroenterology and pulmonology.
